While I own a TV, I am unable to get any sort of broadcast (no cable, satellite or even antenna) but I am jonesing for this show. My wife and I have a Mac Mini hooked up to our TV, though, so if HBO put it up streaming...

Re: HBO's A Game of Thrones Grr... it appears they're airing it over here from next Monday, but only on Sky... which I don't have because I'm not paying a monthly subscription to watch crap TV on top of my license fee.

Re: HBO's A Game of Thrones Personally, I don't really care if anyone else likes or dislikes it. That does not make any difference at all to me. I love the books, and from the trailer and other snippets I've seen it looks like I'm going to enjoy seeing it on screen just as much.
The only people who are going to be put off by reading bad reviews are people whose opinions of art are informed by reviews. And who cares about them? _________________ "...with frikin' lasers!" |
