Just as a note, the game is not only available on Steam on the PC. Tis also available seperately.

I guess that is the cool thing about Steam is that you can still play it over Steam and have access to you friends list.

Are there any plans to allow experience in online games for the xbox? That is almost enough to kill it for me. I really don't want to get it for the PC since that severely limits my potential opponents. If we go xbox, I'll definitely at least rent it,if we go PC I might not get it. I just hate buying PC games that may not remain popular. The lack of a used market sucks if you want to sell it, or talk folks into buying it used later. I'm not voting before I look into the online experience thing.

I'm thinking of picking this up on 360 but the lack of gaining xp may cause me to pass altogether as well.

But I cannot answer one way or another. I do know the community over at the publisher's site are clamoring for it.

The Dark Elves are coming to Xbox soon. Approved by Microsoft. They say they 'have' to charge and I have no way to know if that is true or not. I can see Microsoft applying some muscle so as to not devalue other DLC. I can also see not.

In addition, a game update patch has been submitted. They cannot give details or a fixed date. (Again, they lay the reason for that at Microsoft's feet but I totally get this, Microsoft doesn't want fan pressure to interfere with their decision). The community is holding it's breath that this is online leagues for XBLA.

Being that there has been a healthy online Blood Bowl community on PC for several years, I think there will be more opponents online with the PC than the Xbox.

Anyone know what the talk is on TBB? I gave up on them when they went to the LRB and insisted on annual updates. A lot of the playtesting was done in our league, and lots of those guys will probably be getting it. I know that if they fix the XBox version, I'll have probably 10 more friends to play. We can always check the sales numbers and the ranking on Live to see what has a bigger community.

If they make online games worth experience on Xbox, I'll buy that version for sure.
