Spent all day playing Draw my thing. Draw something but you don't need an apple product to play. Its good fun.

Just received an invite to the Mists of Pandaria beta, so... there's that.

Re: What Video Games are you playing?
I beat Hydrophobia: Prophecy a day or so ago - on easy, granted - and am still thinking about it. It had some interesting ideas, at least, but I'm not sure what else to think about it.
Today's been putzing around in Super Monday Night Combat, which for some reason I keep referring to as Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal. For such a rocky start - as in the matchmaking servers were taken down multiple times and public chat wasn't working until mid-day today - it's being quite a bit of fun. It's not the most amazing game ever, and it crashes if I play more than one game in a row without restarting the client, but when it works, I enjoy it.
This weekend is the TERA Open Beta, so I'm going to give that a shot - probably the only actual exposure to the game I'll have, since it's a Korean-based hyper-grindy subscription MMO.

Yeah, but android or apple, I still have a regular old dumb phone and can only play on PC. Also its free on that website and not 99c.

Re: What Video Games are you playing?
The Legend of Spyro: A new Beginning. Yup, going back to the PS2 to check out the Spyro reboot trilogy. So far, I have mixed feelings. It's turned from an excellent platformer into a halfway-decent brawler with very minor platforming elements, picked up some excellent voice acting (Elijah Wood as Spyro, Gary Oldman as his mentor, and a good number of others I can't recall off the top of my head), and one huge-tastic stinker. Sadly, the bad one has far and away the most lines in the game. Fucking David Spade. Did anybody ever like him?
Take an actor that isn't any good to begin with, and then add an obviously phoned in performance on top of that, and you get teeth-gnashing obnoxiousness. On the upside, the character he voiced changes actors in the next game. And the one after that. So, good riddance to him.
The best part came when I put the game in, though. I put it in, and it started. Just like that. No updates, no install, no bullshit. Just put the game in and play. Man, I miss being able to do that with new games.

David Spade's only saving grace is Emperor's New Groove.
