Certainly looked nice though. Time to start the DL on Psychonauts. I bought the bundle just for Limbo because it looked good. Once I started playing I was instantly hooked. I loved the gameplay and found the whole game to be creepy as hell. Excellant game that I would recommend to almost anyone. Really? Now I'm curious. What, precisely, was it that you found creepy about it? It seemed pretty run-of-the mill beyond the art style, and while that was interesting, it certainly didn't give off a 'creepy' vibe. The artstyle, the music they did use, the sound effects they used, the spiders, the lack of any ability to fight back short of solving puzzles, being a little kid dragging dead bodies around, and the overall feeling of not knowing what exactly is going on. Chad and I talked about it on the way to gaming on Sunday and the main topic was how creepy we both thought it felt while playing.

Nearing the end of Psychonauts. Got to Sheegor. Thought "Hey, I've heard that voice." Its Twilight Sparkle.

Bastion is fun but I really need to get this game pad to work for me, cuz doing and isometric game with WADS isn't working out well for me.

Gamepad makes the game so, so much more intuitive to play, although I tended to switch back to WASD and mouse for certain proving grounds that required lining up shots against multiple targets simultaneously.

I played it on my XBOX and am now playing it on my PC. With WASD I seem to be able to counter stuff a LOT more. I had a hard time with that on a pad. Conversely I find my self falling off the edge more with WASD.

i could see how it was intended to be creepy, but in an age where every developed is trying to out-creep their competition it was a little lacking.

 Re: Woooo
They just added three more games to the bundle: Braid, Super Meat Boy, and something else that I forgot, and have never heard of.
If you've already purchased, you can download these now, too.

 Re: Woooo
Lone Survivor.
I can't recall for certain, but I think I remember the trailer as having some cool "messing with perception" ideas. Basically an adventure game where you can't be sure if the enemy you're avoiding is really there or just a delusion.
I may or may not have made that up, but it sounds like an interesting idea to me (whether or not it actually exists).

 Re: Woooo
I couldn't get into Braid, much to puzzlely for my tastes. Never played Super Meat Boy and the other one is Lone Survivor. Played a bit of the demo, interesting but the game play was a bit meh, stealth side scroll-er.

 Re: Woooo
I had Braid for 360 and beat it, I really enjoyed the puzzles, and there was a really cool twist on the last stage, but I felt the storyline was too disjointed and weird.
But Super Meat Boy sounds good. And Lone Survivor sounds like something I've never heard of ever.
