This is another free to play web-based game, something more akin to an RPG this time, again you can spend money to advance faster and such, but there's no real NEED to, as it's not a PvP game like Thirst of Night is.

But it's got terrific writing. The premise is that London has been pulled underground, to a place called The Neath. It just might be Hell, but most Londoners are keeping a stiff upper lip about it and continuing their daily lives. It's very Victorian, and very gothic. I found myself today intentionally increasing my character's Nightmares just to explore the asylum you wind up in more thoroughly.

My character started his adventure by breaking out of The Neath's prison, which is in a cavern in the ceiling over The Neath. I'm not sure if that's everybody's start, however.
