The original Fallout is FREE (for 48 hours)
So, right now on gog.com, Fallout is FREE. Go add it to your account. You'll still be able to download it once the "free" price goes away.
Then check the other thread for the resomolution patches.

You're welcome. I'm spreading the word, since I know not everyone is a Twitter addict the way I am!

Re: The original Fallout is FREE (for 48 hours)
I saw this in my RSS feed and twitter and rushed over to post. So thanks for saving me the trouble of starting a thread! Fallout is one of those amazing classic games that EVERYBODY should play.

Damn it! Less than a year after I bought it for $2.99. What a rip!

When I opened the account, GOG auto-magically dumped a half dozen free games into my collection. -- TAZ

Re: The original Fallout is FREE (for 48 hours)
You guys didn't have gog.com accounts yet? You two, especially Zircher, didn't have gog.com accounts until just now? Huh. Never would have guessed that. Oh well, better late than never. They're great. Everything's DRM-free, and their downloader application works really nicely if you want to use it. If you don't, browser downloads work fantastic, too.
