 Re: Diablo III
I know that feeling, my games list is absolutely ridiculous. And the list grows faster than I really find the desire to finish various games. Mostly due to very cheap bundles with games that interest me enough for me to pay the price. Makes it easy to avoid developers when I know they are doing things I personally feel are dodgy, though if I still want the game I will wait until it is available on terms I feel are acceptable. AC2 for example was free, and I bought AssCreedBro and Revelations when I found out that the DRM on them was less offensive.

 Re: Diablo III
Wow, impressive list. Give me a hollar whenever you get around to Frozen Synapse and you want to try some head to head battles. I hope you win the lottery soon since at one game a week you have something like seven or eight years of continous game play there. -- TAZ

 Re: Diablo III
Played the beta stress test this past weekend. Pretty cool. I'll definitely pick this up, though I probably won't preorder.

 Re: Diablo III
I really like it, it feels a lot more like Diablo then 2 did although if anything bugs me its the absence of a class really focused on sword and board. But thats more of a nitpick

 Re: Diablo III
Got it preloaded. No clue what I'll play...likely a barbarian or a demon hunter.

 Re: Diablo III
NOOB, with a capital N-O-O-B.
I'm not a huge video gamer--mostly the stuff I can play with my young son on the Wii. And I don't think I've played a PC game since my very first PC some 13 years ago.
But I am seriously considering buying this game. I want a game I can jump in and out of without concern for hooking up with others. I like the idea of quests and story and the like, and I love the dark feel of Diablo III. I've never played any of the others.
So, with all of that-----should I buy this game?

Instead, buy Diablo 2, patch it all the way, and you'll have a game that you can just jump into. Diablo 3 gives you all the hassle of a MMORPG - in single-player.
