 Re: Diablo III
Z: Now this I agree with. I think the "good will of the fans" is a bit nebulous to bet on, but I do agree that they're really riding on "Because It's Blizzard", and eventually they won't be able to do that anymore.

Depends on how good the single player game's gameplay is, really. On the other hand, I'm GOING to buy Torchlight II.

 Re: Diablo III
The only thing that has any chance of actually affecting sales in a meaningful way is the online only. Even that seems to me like a non issue for the most part. As was mentioned, sometimes I don't want to play with other people. I'm not any kind of introvert, I'm a loud, friendly, competitive guy. Even in want to just play solo sometimes. I'm guessing that that won't be an issue. Start a private game and don't in item anyone, problem solved.

For those of us with less than stable internet connections, that is a deal breaker.

Diablo can kiss my Ass he got his Ass beat twice. I am wondering if they will make this a consel game it could fit decently and maybe not have the internet problem. One of the assassins creed games had this problem as well.

I could get into why, but I don't think we need to turn this into a "The industry is being retarded with their approach to DRM" vs "The Aaron Stack attitude: Stop crying you baby! *bitchslap*" debate. We all know the arguments from both sides by now. @Aaron: Just kidding.

 Re: Diablo III
I'm just saying there are better things about the game to hate. Like the fact there are hardly any changes to the "click until things die, collect stuff, 30 goto 10" formula that was perfected ten years ago and hasn't been updated with modern advances in gaming. Entire fandom is babies
