 Re: Mechwarrior Online
There's not seen enough information for my liking. But then, I don't do subscriptions of any games. I can live with micro-transactions, game currency, or in-game advertising. It remains to be seen if they can convince me to be a paying customer. I have thrown money at some Facebook games in the past, so paying for content is not out of the question. It will interesting if they can offer a package that will entice me. -- TAZ

 Re: Mechwarrior Online
None of the Founder's Packs are all that appealing to me.

 Re: Mechwarrior Online
For games I really like, I will pay to play. Devs need to eat too. Assuming a WoT style model, I will want to run premium for the non-nerfed earnings. Games like this and WoT with the run a mission go to garage play style, I play a lot. In WoT I didn't get the pre order and ended up spending much more than it cost. So I just missed out on a free tank. In this, the $60 package is a no brainer assuming there isn't some deal breaker as details emerge. My only question is whether the extra mechs and month of premium are worth $60 more.

 Re: Mechwarrior Online
I most likely will not buy a founder's pack, but I'm definitely in. My pilot's name is the same as here. Churcher.

Chad wrote: Am I reading this right? 3 months for $120! Fuck you. If you don't count.. $120 LEGENDARY Founder's Package Includes: • All 4 exclusive “Founder's BattleMechs.” These Mechs include a lifetime, per-match C-Bill booster. • $80 value of in-game currency* for in-game item purchases • Three-month premium account to MechWarrior Online at launch: Earn XP & C-Bills faster.• Founder's Tag - sets your status apart from the crowd & get noticed in-game and on the forums. • Game credits – The player’s name included as one of the “Legendary” in the MechWarrior Online game credits. • Early access to the game along with Founder's assets availability starts August 7th. Then, yes, you are reading it right. Call the Legendary Founders plan the Uberfan package. I can understand it's not for everyone, but for those who have the disposable income, and think they might really like the game, It's actually a really good package. There were alot more sold today than I thought would. Even with the website issues. Beta keys are getting thin, but send me a PM and I will see what I can do for fellow Booters http://mwomercs.com/forums/user/466-helmer/

 Re: Mechwarrior Online
The game itself is Free to Play. The Premium account is XP and C-bill boost from missions. My understanding is that it will stack with the Founder mech C-Bill boost as well. Basically, $120 for an XP and C-bill boost, plus early access, plus $80 worth in C-Bills (which may be nothing to sneeze at depending on the conversion rate for $US to C-Bill). I don't believe they're going to put all their fans over the barrel with this deal.
