Re: In the Lady's Shadow 2.0 (OOC Thread)
I will say that the post was written before I knew the campaign was dead... then I read that it was done and just left it since it really doesn't matter anyway. If it makes you feel any better, I don't blame you (or anyone for that matter) for the demise of the campaign, and would play in another PBP with you if the opportunity arose.

Re: In the Lady's Shadow 2.0 (OOC Thread)
Thanks Larenil. I was going to put this in a PM to you, but it also applies to some of the others too so I'll put it here. I am sorry about that post (the one you responded to). It was part of an attempt to find an IC rationale and explanation for the changes I was trying to make to Morlan's behaviour and personality. I can see now that it was a gross misrepresentation of other people's characters and I can understand how it upset people. I was certainly suffering from selective memory disorder when I wrote that one. For what it's worth I, as a player, have greatly enjoyed my interactions with you and the other players, both in and out of character. I'd also like to apologise to Stan for my part in making the game not fun for him. This game has been a consistent wonder to me, and has enriched my life tremendously over the past three years. Thank you.

You were a pleasure to have in the game, LF.
I have every intention of running another PBP in the future, and there's nobody from this game that I wouldn't invite to that one. I've actually got the itch already, but I'm forcing myself to wait for awhile. I love playing, but I obviously need some time off.

Re: In the Lady's Shadow 2.0 (OOC Thread)
When you do feel up to running another game, can I ask that you consider a continuation of this one. Obviously, that only works if it is another Planescape game you choose to run, but for those of us who have invested so much in this game it might be preferable to a complete restart from scratch. It would certainly get my vote.

Re: In the Lady's Shadow 2.0 (OOC Thread)
I've been in one reboot already, and I see merits both ways. Things I would (somewhat selfishly) find interesting: - Something set in the Prime homeworld of the Lady's Shadow 1, with the Undead and Undying
- Something set in the Blood War, a variety of naive, decent, or unscrupulous types stuck in a bad situation.
- Something set on Joshua's Prime world, but focusing more on the interplanar machinations of a new (?) power hungry deity

I think Gordon's ideas are good; I'd particularly enjoy a setting in Joshua's homeworld.
On the subject of In the Lady's Shadow, I would be up for continuing in this setting (i.e., the same NPCs etc.) but with new characters--maybe even sometime in the future after our previous characters are dead.

Re: In the Lady's Shadow 2.0 (OOC Thread)
My Planescape itch is thoroughly scratched at the moment, but it always comes back with time. I'm not deleting the wiki or anything. Even if it's not the very next game I decide to run, it's good to know the party is still running around somewhere.

Re: In the Lady's Shadow 2.0 (OOC Thread)
Hey, guys, just got back from my trip. How is everything....Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?
Goat, this game has been a marvel. It is not only the best play by post I've ever tried, by miles, but possibly the best game I've played, period. I've loved it, beginning to end. You are one hell of a GM.
Also, there can't be many PBP games that have been this busy for this long. I've never seen or even heard of a PBP that did either, much less both. Great work, everyone!
Let me know, please, about any other PBP games you run, Stan. Also, I'd love to play with again with any of you!
