Or rather, I think that Goat would have adapted things enough that you didn't die, but without altering the overall outcome. To be clear, Morlan didn't want anyone else to go. He was just a bit surprised that nobody else wanted to go. It felt bizarre to me, playing the only non-good aligned character in the party, to be the only one who seemed to care about looking for the lost party member.

Re: In the Lady's Shadow 2.0 (OOC Thread)
Well Joshua'd have been as subject to an invisibility spell as Morlan and would have had the same Cloak, and has his own Move Silently and Hide in Shadows skills,
as for not wanting to go...
I had no clear idea where they were and just figured they'd be fine. I thought all the Fiends were in our section of the city.

Anyway, thanks Gordon, Scott and Stan for your input to this. I won't implement any great shifts in Morlanism until I've heard from Larenil at least. He is the one who has been most obviously opposed to Morlan's ways and manner recently, so I'd be very interested to get his take on these issues before I make any firm decisions.

Re: In the Lady's Shadow 2.0 (OOC Thread)
Sorry for the short notice, but I have just discovered that I am going to be out of the house for the next few days. I'm leaving in a few hours to take the kids to my wife's parents, and will come back either Saturday or Sunday. I do not know if I'll get online access during that time or not -- depends on whether we head into town to use the library's computers at some point. They live way, way, way out in the middle of nowhere.
Good thing Dunn is doing nothing more important than nursing a hangover. Do with him what you will. Thanks for tolerating these sudden absences.

Slightly changed wording. Trying not to rub the wrong way unintentionally here.

Re: Ark
I had said OOC that I was going to have Ark stumble into a trap or something in Delhumide. Then Yul couldn't contact him, IC.
I figured everyone just kind of knew what was up, but I realize that Morlan, as a character, had to see what he saw before he could move on. I don't think everyone else's acceptance of what had transpired should be taken as in-character disinterest in Ark's fate. The following few days were filled with some good lamentation of gnashing of teeth.

So is the IC snub a mix-up of some kind?

Re: In the Lady's Shadow 2.0 (OOC Thread)
I'm waiting to see what develops. Nilis definitely isn't happy about Morlan's apparent decision to separate her from Gelon.
I'm guessing this is because Morlan doesn't trust her. He doesn't seem to be willing to consider what Gelon's opinion on the issue might be, though.

Re: In the Lady's Shadow 2.0 (OOC Thread)
Disagreeing over whether Nilis should meet with Gelon seems like a legit in character dispute. I'm not opposed to that, to be clear. I just wish these disputes were here IC alongside some OOC planning for how to resolve them with both characters developing mutual respect in the process.
I want to say that I think these disagreements are legitimate, but counter-productive. I think everyone is playing with integrity. Nilis would probably give a fake name. Morlan would resist her meeting Gelon. I just don't know what the end game is with these decisions. I'm not seeing how they are meant to play out with you guys ending up on the same side.
I made the mistake of relying on the PC T-Shirt because I felt like we'd done enough character introductions and farewells. I wanted to just get Nilis in the game quickly. I just assumed that everyone was on board with a quick introduction. I've learned from that decision. I see that that's something players don't want, and that's fine. I made a bad call, but I don't want to keep paying for it.
