Dear other party members, for when you read this: Need advice on transporting a priceless painting all over the Planes without damaging it. Thanks!

For the painting, I have a mental image of a gathering of big-shot Netherese mages, complete with fancy robes, doing something terribly important. Many of the mages in the painting are historical personages.

Alternately, could go for humor... Karsus or Trebbe in their youth creatively abusing cantrip spells.

Joshua is suprised by this blood thirsty side to Mell. Must be his god rumaging its tendrils through his mind. goatunit wrote: Whatever else can be said of Szass Tam, his magical technique is artistry, pure and beautiful to behold. He came to me with his theories for using the Mythal as a phylactery, and I was blinded by their elegance. I foolishly assisted in his transformation." North Wind wrote: Nilis looks for one of Antos' older paintings, back from the time when his work was at its best -- probably when he had still been alive, or at least early in his undeath. Why do you assume his earlier stuff was better? Hipster. From Stan's description it seems that he's spend centuries reaching a superhuman level of artistic ability. By comparison his earlier stuff would look like a fingerpainting! edit - I woke up to several pages in both threads... this must be what it feels like to be somebody else

Re: In the Lady's Shadow 2.0 (OOC Thread)
wow! So many pages and so little accomplished Part of me says don't say anything, but You'd been mentioned enough that my input is justified. Yul didn't have it easy, but he was squatting on private property. Also, he had nothing to hide and he's pretty damn good at picking his battles. For him, submitting to a magical polygraph was mo big deal. He can just as easily discern Dunn's, Morlans...etc. Motivations any time he chose. Normal rules don't apply for Yul, therefore he conducts himself very differently within the social contract. I'm not sure how to explain it, but try to imagine the mind of a psionic. Their mind, and therefore their thoughts, are always guarded/protected. Back to Yul's introduction, from an OOC perspective I also just rolled with the punches. It's just a game to me. the treatment was a little harsh, but I am a big boy. A couple assholes bullying me IC in an RPG?...c'mon! The other point I reckon I will address in the IC thread. It is in regard to suggestions that Yul should use his powers to interrogate Nilis.

Yul had it easy with Joshua. Joshua found his interest in Cranium Rats refreshing and fascinating.

The pillow allows Spell slots to return on half rest, so it seems reasonable, but not certain that it would also increase the rate of return of PSPs
