The woman sways gently in the wind as she follows after Ro. The wary elf spots her as he is alert for traps and sees that her face is haggard from crying tears of blood from empty eyes. Her hair dances as she approaches, blown by a breeze Ro cannot feel. She reaches her hand out towards him and moves closer.

Ro' turns with a start on seeing the woman aproaching him.

After a moment of shock he moves into a defensive posture, ready to move out of the woman's way if she gets to close.

His eyes narrow as he focuses, trying to recall what type of unquiet dead it is he faces and how best to deal with it. He considers tring to speak to her, as she may be capable of reason but holds off until he knows more in case this type of spirit reacts poorly to be spoken to.

(Oh dice you are fickle!)
Ro realises this apparition is a creature known as a Spectral Dancer. He remembers that such creatures are driven irretrievably insane by their inability to communicate.

Stories about encounters with them rest on the tip of his tongue and he is certain some had a happy ending, but ... how?

He does remember that these creatures are created when a horror rips a spirit from its body. Could that be what happened to the boy?

Ro gracefully keeps his distance, but giving ground leave him further and further from his companions.

Meanwhile cold hungry eyes watch from the windows.

Realising he is getting further away from the help of his friends Ro' starts to move to the right of the ghostly woman, at the last moment he drops into a crouch and attempts to roll under her reach and back towards the relative safety of the group.

All the while he is turning the creature over in his mind, trying to remember how it is they were dealt with peacefully in Creana and wether the poor boy at the wall might suffer the same fate.

Grabthar has both sword and hammer out and ready, but for the time being he stays back guarding Atrii in case there are other interested parties around. He watches what is going on down the street though.

Ro makes his way back towards the group and the apparition sways her way after him, letting out a rythmical shriek just beyond comprehension. The sound carries a song of pain and isolation and a fierce hunger.

Cadaver men lurch from the doors. They seem more feral and less intelligent than those you have seen before.

Seeing Z'phir itching to leap in, Atrii casts Iron Hand on him. Once that's done, he will fall back a few paces from the terrifying woman and rely on his Mind Dagger.

A look of surprise briefly crosses Ro's face as the Cadaver Men begin to emerge, he quickly assesses the number of unquiet dead on the street as he plans his next move.

The number is sizable and still incomplete. The doorways form a bottleneck as the dead pour out of them. Most are in a state of severe decay and their movement is therefore slow and unnaturally stiff.

Ro can count at least twenty as he ducks back towards the rest of the group. But more are within the buildings.
