Grabthar remains close to both Atrii and Z'phir, waiting for the magician to tell them what to do.

The sounds of movement approaching from downstairs make it clear someone, most likely the Air Warden, is about to come up.

The Feathered Serpent Hual-Api, called Snake Dancer by Dragons, bristles at the feeling that one of his candidates has been touched by the Horrors. If only he had more Drakes spread through this region. But only the Great Dragons have so many. Creating his two servants had been unbelievably draining, and he needed them where they were.

Besides, the T'skrang would soon reach Parlainth, where Charcoalgrin would doubtless take matters in hand if the problem remained unresolved.

It is always unpleasant to be forced to deal directly with Vitrosh, leader of the Brocher's Brood. Not only do his thorns strike at the core of her sense of what it means to be an elf everytime she sees them, but the former Blood Warder is more than half insane and she never knows what will set him off or cause him to take his frustrations out on those around him.

She does not trust the Blood Elf, but for now she needs him.

Juliak Merris is an cautious, but pragmatic, obsidiman, so he pours over the details of the contract he has drawn up with the Captain of the stone ship, satisfying himself that it is of benefit to Merris Trading.

The fact remains that the loss of the Obsidian Flyer hit him hard. He needed access to a ship, and the terms were favourable. In fact it seems to him on reflection that the terms were very much in his favour.

It seems unlikely that the loss of the Flyer was orchestrated by this crew, but he makes a note to have this investigated.

In the meantime, constrained by circumstance, he puts his seal on the official registration, granting the Ignis Volturius rights and obligations within the Merris Trading House.

Unable to discuss new developments openly, Atrii casts a sort of shrugging glance toward Grabthar. Does he recognize the guards as having been present during the arrest, or are these different guys?

Atrii approaches the guards.

"Excuse me, sirs. My companions and I need to meet with the warden."

If they seem reluctant to allow him inside, he'll ask, "Are you aware of the situation?" in his most authoritative and official tone.

The guards nod, "we have been told to keep the Warden under house arrest, and he asked us to treat him as if he were a horror, just to be on the safe side."

"It might be best not to go in," the other agrees.

"So this is what you'd do if he were a horror?" Atrii asks, skewing his lip curiously. "Keep adepts from seeing him?"
