 Brass Dragons Of Atlantis, Georgia
Just over twenty years ago they tore their way from the earth. The quake woke them and sent then pouring into the sky. Dragons made of metal and blood. They devastated the land and it's people. As they swarmed across our skies they killed millions. Eventually the remnant of our military was forced to do the unthinkable. They launched a nuclear attack against the rifts from which they came, and stemmed the tide.
The new city of Atlantis is built from the scraps of her kudzu covered mother. It is the last home of humanity out here. In the dust and the fallout we're trying to survive. May God preserve mankind.
-----------
Essentially we're looking at Fallout meets Reign with some Gears of War thrown in for seasoning. Some technical stuff you may need to know is that Technology in this world had progressed a little faster before the disaster (think 25 minutes into the future style stuff like Fringe). Post disaster most of the scrap worked tech relies on either re working the biotech of the dragons themselves or scraping together whatever you can from the remaining artifacts.
Fuel comes in two flavors: 1. Dragon's blood - Incredibly volatile it burns hotter, and more agressively than any man made fuel so far concieved. It is rather explosive. 2. Bio Diesel - The laboratory constructed in Atlantis has the facilities to produce up to 10 gallons a week (as it currently stands) per station with a total of 4 stations.
The people of Atlantis, almost all 5,242 of them, believe that they are the last "real" city, at least in America. While they are aware of a few nomadic bands and some raiders that roam the wilderness, their attempts to contact the outside have been failures. Radio traffic is almost null due to the interference of the radiation and whatever envoys were sent out have never come back.
Confirmed Players: AaronStack GothiUllr Ratatosk
Tentative players: Sernos JesTor Zircher
If all of those guys join I'm probably gonna cap it there, cuz that's a rather large group. Ratatosk and Sernos seem to show the most actual interest. After the second scession of actual play I will close out joining with the exception of NPCs.
Ask me any questions and I will make up an aswer for you.

 Re: I aim to GAME!
I'd love to game with you SandPunk, but I'd have to do a PbP to do anything. I've got work early in the mornings so I can't stay up late to game.

 Re: I aim to GAME!
I might be interested as I've been looking for a decent Skype game. I'd be willing to play nearly anything or run D&D 4e, D&D Gamma World, or something Savage Worlds.

 Re: I aim to GAME!
I haven't been a player in years upon years, so this is a big YES.

 Re: I aim to GAME!
Well this looks a lot like a game group. Sandpunk would you prefer to GM or play? I'm willing to do either but do kind of want to try GMing a Skype game with maptools so I'd be more than willing to GM. If I do GM I'm leaning toward Gamma World as I have a story idea that I'd like to try out and ideas for how to simulate the cards in an online environment but I'm willing to also run 4e D&D, Savage Worlds or even Street Fighter: The Storytelling game from White Wolf.

 Re: I aim to GAME!
Alright, we should set up a time tonight to meet on Skype to hash all this out for real for sure; say around 8 to 8:30 pm CST (EST 9 to 9:30, Mountain is 7 to 7:30, Pacific is 6 to 6:30)?

 Re: I aim to GAME!
Well, first we have to decide if we're Skypeing it or PBPing it. The general leaning seems to be Skype (sorry Gothi ). So I will try to be home around 8-ish tonight and I'll post my Skype info here then so we can get it going. @Jimalcoatl I do truely appreciate the offer to run (I do so love getting the chance to just play), but I am currently bursting with ideas and would like to run myself. (FTC lead up has me uber excited.) Also I don't currently own Gamma Worlds ( I need to fix this as it looks pretty awesome), and don't intend to upgrade to 4e. I'll add a poll to determine the system if you guys don't mind.

Re: I aim to GAME! *Poll added*
I put in a vote for improv. Use whatever system you want for character creation, but don't let the combat system bind and complicate your gaming. Using anything that resembles a tactical combat game would seriously drag on. Imagine trying to play X-Com via play by post or describe it to a blind person (for those using Skype.) -- TAZ
