Re: Spirit of the Century - IC
Over the next few [OOC]plot allotted amount of time[/OOC] Karl is on the phone between Istanbul and Zurich. After a few conversations in German (calmly) and French (heated) Karl observes, " Tse Französisch...French. Tsey make make good cheese, great wine, but armen mechanikern...poor mechanics. Die Ganz will be here [OOC]on a plot driven date[/OOC]. Who would like to see her come in?"
[OOC]Let me know when I can describe 'her' entrance.[/OOC]

I no problem with you describing the introduction to Die Ganz, but there are a few twists that I need you filled in on Leland, Burt, Volos any reactions or things to do in the next few days? [/OOC]

Re: Spirit of the Century - IC
[:ooc:]Sorry I've been a bit absent. Traveling for a living presents its challenges, sometimes.
I'd like to approach Volos about switching rooms immediately after learning this.[/:ooc:]
"Volos, ol' pal... I need a favor. It seems you're in a room that has very important sentimental value to me. There's no way I could get you to swap rooms with me, is there? It would really mean a lot. And I'll make it up to you if I can..."

Volos grins. "Is this where you became a man?" He chuckles as he looks back at the lady who's lounging on the couch behind him. "I guess we're switching rooms, my dear. I hope, Captain Blackstone, the view is better from your room. Though I suppose," he grins as the tall drink of water behind him saunters over, "that I'll be able to make do with what I have."

Blackstone smiles and nods to the young lady, clasping Volos' hand and shaking it firmly.
"I appreciate this. Truly."
Once they've gone, I search the room. Thoroughly. Very, very thoroughly.

Re: Spirit of the Century - IC
For the immediate future I would like to concentrate on Ian's and Lelands stories, as they are taking more immediate action on their parts. Next will be the arrival of the TYRIAN carrying Karl's plane, in a day or two.
After effectively and nosily turning over the room. Leland finds a crumpled up paper with some sort accounting. But other than the numbers, it is quite literally Greek to him. Pontic Greek, like much of the local writing.
Ian finds, Burt is very hesitant to join you. Dressed as you are in your "pajamas". You realize that the terms under which you met under were complicated. It was in part Burt's research that allowed the Black Lotus clan to find the monastery years ago. He seems rather regretful of this fact and may need some more encouragement to do so.
Volos hears the turning over of his former room likely by Leland, as the room sits directly over the common sitting room where flirtatious advances are made by both Volos and Melinda, (the tall drink of water). Unless his is drafted into some sort of incident his evening is very well set, but for now this are still ... public.
Burt is of course faced with helping his "friend" or thinking that "retribution" may be on himself.
Karl, is absorbed in making plan's, in his room before he retires for the evening, the bed serves as a makeshift workspace, where he examines is plans. Tinkers with some pet project and also hears the thumping and turning of Leland's or was is Boyan's room search next door.

Volos lights up another cigarette and looks to the ceiling. "I hope we weren't that loud." He snakes an arm around Melinda's waist. "He did go in there by himself, didn't he?"

Re: Spirit of the Century - IC
Karl is puzzled by the noise and more than a little agrievated. The calculations for the ratios to get the jet engines to work are near the surface, but just out of grasp. In frustration he gets up an goes to what he thinks is Volos' room. He pounds on the door and says in a raised, controlled voice, "Volos! Haben Sie eine Erdbeere Haar Mädchen mit Ihnen?"*
* Translation: Do you have a strawberry hair girl with you?
If Leland does answer, Karl will say, "Boyan enjoys more than just the company of red-heads!?"

Re: Spirit of the Century - IC
Blackstone jerks the door open, looking quite focused, a piece of paper in one hand and a table fan in the other.
Karl (as previously stated) blinks at him in surprise and says, ""Boyan enjoys more than just the company of red-heads!?" Blackstone looks at him blankly for a moment, then hands Karl the table fan and says, " I need a linguist."
Bolting downstairs, lathered in a mild sweat, Leland finds Volos in the common room. He thrusts the paper into Volos' hand and says with a winning smile, "I know I'm a terrible cad, and completely ruining your evening, but... I need another favor... I'll owe you one. Another... one... How does a guy get a bottle of Raki around here?"
