 Re: Detroit Area Gamers
Hope you were able to get your group together. After a brief attempt, my own efforts seem to have fizzled. Time to regroup and try again.

 Re: Detroit Area Gamers
I'm in the Detroit area looking for a game.
Here's information you may or may not find pertinent: I'm 28 years old and consider myself a gaming novice. I've played one session of D&D 2E years ago. More recently I've played some 3.5, and played a brief one-shot with 4E. I also have a little experience running 3.5 and TriStat DX, but don't be fooled! Both games ended in miserable failure. Due to my lack of role playing experience I'd probably be somewhat uncomfortable getting into heavy RP, but maybe that's something I'd get used to.
As for games I'd interested in playing; I'm a big Lovecraft fan, so I'd really like to play a Call of C'thulhu game, D&D, any edition, Shadowrun, and Wheel of Time. I'm also very interested in Dogs in the Vineyard. That being said, I'm opening to just about anything, well, within reason. I've never played Rifts, and from what I hear, I'd like to keep it that way.

 Re: Detroit Area Gamers
Remember it's mostly about the players and GM and far less about the system. Being a social activity, the biggest part of gaming is finding the right group to game with.
That being said, My game room is getting more active of late. Battletech, A time of War (The Battletech RPG) Firefly RPG and Perhaps a game of Cthulhutech.
All depends on how far away you are from Eastpointe MI. -Chris

 Re: Detroit Area Gamers
Hey I'm Jim from the Postcards from the Dungeon podcast. I'm trying to find more players for our Saturday group in Southern Sterling Heights, MI. There are three of us right now, but we would love to add a couple more people. You can post to this forum, or email me off of the PFtD webpage http://pftdcast.com/.
