 Re: Skype Savage Mass Effect
I have no problem with that.
I think that can offer some advantages. It may cut down on some of the joking around and such.

 Re: Skype Savage Mass Effect
I guess try it but I can't guarantee it will hold my interest... I type poorly and read slowly... I'm much more interested in acting my character than writing him as now I will lose ALL ability to inflect or hear what people say... and the fact that we lose the immediacy of conversation and instead have to wait for characters to read then wait for someone to respond...

 Re: Skype Savage Mass Effect
My longest-running campaign ever was actually a Star Wars d20 game played over mIRC chat. One girl was an American living in China. It wasn't perfect, but it was fun, and we also had the advantage of having every single thing logged for us.
Seraph, I hope you can give it a shot to at least see how it goes.

mindtakerr, totally understand being to busy irl. I get it, and no worries.
That said, I'll have to bow out of the text style game.

 Re: Skype Savage Mass Effect
It looks like the majority of people aren't able to do a text-based game. So, we have two options. - Drop the game entirely
- Try to recruit more players with the text-based requirement being upfront.
Also, the other players who haven't responded yet, could you give your votes, too?

 Re: Skype Savage Mass Effect
I prefer not to do a text based game. So i guess is thats the only option right now I would like to drop out. I am really not a fan of this style of game.

 Re: Skype Savage Mass Effect
I'm really sorry everyone. I really would loved to have done more than one session.
I apologize for all the work that everyone put in.
