Post Suggestions for fun trading card games
I haven't played a physical competitive one on one card game in years, so I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a new card game for me to try. I mentioned the game being one on one because I know people will suggest games like Flux, munchkins, Apples to Apples, and other similar card games. Although I like those styles of game there not what I am looking for. So what card games do you guys suggest? I have played Magic the Gathering and I am not a fan. I still prefer playing yugioh or Dual Masters for that style of card game.

What is it about MtG that you dislike and YGO that you prefer?

There is a new card game out called Cardfight Vanguard that you should try. Its a bit hard to find right now but of all the TCGs I have seen it is one of the best. If you like duel masters then you should like Vanguard because they have the same designer.

Vanguards does sound like it has several things going for it. As far as me disliking magic the gathering is mostly because I am not a fan of spamming tons of creatures or the technical eff I see several cards using(flying can't be attacked by x).

edit:watched a episode one and two of the show and I admit its the oddest combination of yugioh and dual masters I have ever seen. As far as tactics the only one I seemed to notice in the show is simply deck structure. Later tonight I guess all take a closer look at the rules.
