 Lego Heroica
Anyone play any of the Lego Heroica games yet? They look interesting.

 Re: Lego Heroica
I have not but I have friends that have bought and played it (the druid set, I think). They said it was a lot of fun and feels very much like Lego D&D.

 Re: Lego Heroica
It looks a lot like a build-able Hero Quest/D and D sort of thing.

 Re: Lego Heroica
I've never played HeroQuest and only have a vague, peripheral knowledge of it. Their very basic description in the 5 minute conversation we had was that you get to build an environment with the Legos and then there are rules for your minifigs to interact with it and its denizens. They also said that all the Heroica sets could be combined to make a bigger game.

I'm interested as well, for playing with my son, but only if the price is right. I have a feeling it won't be.
EDIT: It looks like the sets are about $20 a piece at Amazon. Maybe I can get it for my son for Christmas or something.

 Re: Lego Heroica
I have not played it yet, but my friend at work got it for his kids and he really liked it. It's *very* simplistic, but he definitely described it as a kid's gateway drug for RPGs and his kids wanted to re-play it several times in a single sitting.
I can't speak to how it plays with a group of adults, but I would guess it could be a fun, quick, 30-minute lego dungeon crawl.

 Re: Lego Heroica
I thought the idea was awesome. I'd love to give it a try sometime. I might buy if for some of my nephews or nieces this Christmas.
A complaint though. Even the largest set, which is Castle Fortran I believe, seems kind of....small. If you look at what it comes with, it seems like about 5 dollars worth of legos. I know legos are expensive. I would have liked to see more pieces. Especially at $30 for the set.

 Re: Lego Heroica
Don't they all join together to form a larger game? Or did I misunderstand?
