I kind of can't believe that you guys are advocating for dealing with player-to-player frustration by taking it out on the character. Like I said, that's passive-aggressiveness, and it's the kind of stuff we did when we were adolescents, right? But not anymore.
an in-game reaction is completely acceptable. Again, sure, if that's the kind of game you're playing, and you're all cool with backstabbing. But that's not what's going on here. The guy is being a complete douchebag and ruining other people's fun. The solution here is to pause the game and say, "Hey dude, that's not cool. That totally ruins my fun here. That's not the way we play," not to be a douchebag back to him. It is a very back stabby game. We just had two more players die. And the guy already knows that I can't stand him. But like I said, the rest of the group tolerates him, so I can't just stand up and say GTFO. These facts change my thoughts. Is he really that guy, or or you just not meshing well with someone the rest of the group is ok with?

I don't think the rest of the group is ok with him, but they don't seem willing to tell him to just go away. And I'm having issues with other peoples characters, but he's the only player I can't stand.

 Dealing with That Guy...
I would recommend you ask each individual person in your group their feelings about him. But do it away from everyone else.

He is flagrantly powergaming and doing so in a way that neither makes sense nor allows the other players to have fun. I think he's going to be ejected before the next game, and if he's not, he's one more stunt away from it. Are we talking Zeppelin Trains (harmless but stupid) or are we talking Half Dragon, Half Drow, Half Orc, Half God With The Strengths Of Each Balancing Out The Weaknesses Of Each (just stupid)?
