yeah man, sorry you're caught up in this, but it's like the idea of what happens during an accident, people stand around until someone takes charge and does something. everyone wants to help, and you've probably got even more support than you know, but sometimes you have to put shame aside and risk it.
i wish you luck with whatever course you take and hope it works out for you

 Re: Dealing with That Guy...
I like the idea of using a rear naked choke on this guy. A few questiond though does this guy spend more money than you and your friends? Also how many people have a problem with this guy that are regular customers is it a minority or majority? Does the store owner have one of those signs that says right to refuse service to anyone or something similar

 Re: Dealing with That Guy...
As far as I can tell, he doesn't spend money beyond paying to attend; the rest of us buy drinks and snacks, we buy a crapton of games, and we aim to keep the store in business.
Of the group that I consider personal friends, more than half of us have problems with That Guy.
As for right to refuse service, that's implicit in any business. No need to post it, it just means you have a sign to point at when the asshats kick off. There is NO right to be served at ANY business.

 Re: Dealing with That Guy...
So... we're chickenshit, but That Guy didn't show this week. Kind of a wash.
On the other hand... if I'm involved in a game in which he cheats, I'm calling him on it if it happens. And if he kicks off, well, one of us is a personal friend of the owner, the organiser of the Tuesday night thing, and most of the attendees at said tuesday night thing... and one of us is a creepy guy with issues. And I bake better cookies than he does. So I'll call him on cheating, and kinda hope he kicks off. Kicking off when you're called on cheating is pretty much a cinch for a permanent ban, for my money.

The more I think about this situation, the more I'm convinced a little Turkish Revenge is the most appropriate course of action.
