Post Moding board and card games
Game: Arkham Horror

Ok i have to get this idea out before i start working on it. Take Arkham Horror rules and apply them to Batman and Gotham City. The Elder Gods become Batman's a list villans. The Gateways become crimes. The clues, encounters, allies, items, combat all stay the same only with Batman flavoring. The investigators become Robin, Oracle, Nightwing, etc. The monsters become the b list villans. Finnaly the terror track and victory conditions stay the same
i am currently moding the old decipher star wars ccg and designing an original board game so i cannot work on this. If anybody wants to run with it you have my blessing.

Game: Star Wars CCG by Decipher

Oh the ccg mod is having Predator, Alien, Terminator, SG1, and maybe Dr Who friends fight over earth. I up to alpha testing on the first four decks.

I've wanted to make mod Last Night no Earth so I can have two rival groups competing to complete various objectives while being chased down by the zombies. I only have a vague concept of how this would. I'd probably use more of the maps and arrange them differently since we'd have more than the max number of intended players. The mechanics could pretty easily be tweaked so that players could wreak some mayhem on each other, but I would also need to add some zombie rules to act as a deterrent (i.e. zombies could do something to downed heroes to significantly power up their own forces). A few trading mechanics and some simple scenario objectives later, I feel like I could have a pretty fun variant to throw down.

I own the age of mythology board game. We played this game with the actual rules a few times and we didn't care for it much. One of my friends sat down and re-wrote the entire rules. I don't remember if we ever finished a game with his rules or not, but I do remember that we liked it better than the correct way to play. I'll see if I can find the text document he wrote them in somewhere...

Boy howdy! You really should pitch that to Fantasy Flight Games. I'd certainly play it.

In the mod department, I've been playing with the idea of making a 3:16 Carnage Amongst the Stars mod that would add Clone Wars equipment and color text.

Game: Arkham Horror

This is not a mod as much as a very cool addition. Below is a link to board game geek .com and a thread about adding allies for hire. They are a cross between Allies and Investigators. If you like Arkham Horror take a look

I couldn't leave it alone so the link below is to a rough draft of the game board conversion.

Flying Frog's new game has rules (the aliens one, forget the name) for using more boards, and for large groups.
