 Epic Duels
Any fans of Star Wars: Epic Duels here? For those of you who have been missing out, it was a board game that came out between episodes II and III which play out battles between different characters from all (5) movies. It uses a die for movement on a map and cards (not collectible, they're all in there) to let you attack, defend, or perform special actions.
Each character is flanked by one or two side characters and each has a completely different style which is well tailored to the character they portray. For instance:
The Emperor has lots of cards to drain other players of resources, look through opponents' hands, etc. for a very manipulative style.
Darth Maul has a very fast paced, attack oriented deck.
Jango Fett has a few cards that let him move anywhere on the board (thanks to his jet pack).
So they all fit the characters. It really is a very fun game. Anyway, a friend of mine started working with me to start creating one for Lord of the Rings ... we don't see each other much so it's stalling right now, but I'm hoping it starts to take off. The other thing we did with it was create decks for friends (similar to the Forum Cards, which is ... in a very roundabout way ... what originally inspired this post). So each person had their own deck. Soooo ... anyone else here play it?

 Re: Epic Duels
Yes! I played it a handful of times in college. Great game. Haven't played in years.
