Post Song of Blades and Heroes.
Finally got to do some gaming with my gaming buddy, his wife only lets him out once a year. We screamed through an adventure for the Drizzt game from WotC, and then tried out SoBaH. SoBaH was pretty awesome. Very quick playing, we found the Morale rules a little overbearing, but not so bad. We used the armies included in the book.
First up was My Goblins vs. his Elves. I pulled out a victory after losing half my force almost instantly due to a gruesome kill.

Then we did my Dwarves vs. is Undead which was a fast decisive victory. He didn't even take out one of my troops.

Then I used the same army vs. a very mixed bag of Gnolls, a Griffon Lord, a Hydra and a Halfling veteran. I won again despite goofing on the toughness on my earth elemental.

Anyone else tried this game? Thoughts, impressions?

My gaming group uses these rules for running some games, though I haven't played them myself.

They also use Ares (http://www.mj12games.com/ares/) for skirmish games. I'm a big fan of generic fantasy/sci-fi rules that lets you play with whatever models you want.
