 D&D Next play test
Anyone here going to give it a shot? I got in the beta, but I won't be able to crack it open for another 10 hours (pesky software deployment day.) -- TAZ

I got in, but I can't register for an account on my tablet or at work.
Also, WotC's password recovery process sucks. I apparently need to call them.

 Re: D&D Next play test
I'm doing so much else that I don't think I'll have time. A pity, really.

 Re: D&D Next play test
I listened to a Podcast that talks about some of the 5e stuff ( http://misdirectedmark.com/565/ ) and honestly after listening to it i am a lot more interested in 5e then i have been previously. Mostly because it looks like they chucked a lot of the 4e crap

 Re: D&D Next play test
I have the playtest materials. Here's the tl;dr - it's a mishmash of previous editions with a sprinkling of new ideas. Lots of 3e style mechanics and 1e/2e style period.

 Re: D&D Next play test
I tried to download the packet out of curiosity, but the link they have sends me to a Find Answers page and not the download link

 Re: D&D Next play test
So far, the only thing I really like is the ritual magic not taking up a slot in your daily spells.
