Honestly never saw toe shoes before. At least, not like that. The split toe shoes they sometimes wear here in Japan (tabi) are actually damn comfortable. But, they come with all sorts of support and whatnot and construction guys wear them all the time with steel toes because it's easier to climb around stuff with them on.

But, nope, never seen toe shoes here.

And, yes, I'm ashamed to admit that I have worn BOTH a dickee and a velour shirt.

So I had to look these things up just to see what they looked like.

Okay, that's a lie. I want to defend women whose shirts are too short so they buy this stupid thing. So when you're a man buying a shirt, you want it to fit, what? In the width and length, right? The problem with that for women is that our width changes because, you know, breasts, and isn't necessarily proportional to the length of shirt we'd want. Add to that any woman with a slightly longer than average torso, and you've got...actually a lot of women who probably buy shirts that are too short because most shirts are just too short.
EDIT: Oh and tall sizes don't exist in women's clothing. Don't get me started on how much that sucks.

tl;dr: I have shirts that are too short in the front. Still don't want to wear a cloth tube around my gut.

I think I just learned more about women's fashion from this episode than I have from anything else ever.

Also, clothes shopping in my house: I have to ask Mal how things look together because I have very little fashion sense. Also, most of our clothes shopping is at Goodwill, because I hate paying high prices for clothes. We spend way more time at Barnes and Noble than we do shopping for clothes.

I can't wear the toe shoes. My toes are the wrong shape or something.
