Re: Bonus Episode 44 – red, green, or blue
Impotent nerd rage inducing endings for video games:
Ultima 1, 2, and 3. It wasn't until Ultima 5 that Richard Garriott figured out that we'd really like to see something more than "Congratulations, you have completed Ultima $n! Now wait for the release of Ultima $n+1!" The DOS version of Ultima 1 actually had the nerve to say "You have defeated the evil wizard Mondain. Now press Ctrl-Alt-Delete."
Games that went off the rails:
Blaster Master. However, this one doesn't really count because where it went (dude pilots awesome hi-tech hover tank) was so much better than the initial premise (kid chases escapes pet frog into a cave).

I'd have to go with KOTOR 2. The game was really great until the end, and then they basically... just didn't finish the game. Seriously. I believe this is one of the games that fans wrote patches for to unlock and fill the incomplete content.

I did play it on PC, but for those who played on XBox, there was no possibility of fixing this. Also, seriously, fans shouldn't have to fix a game... Did you ever play the other content? If so, how was it?

You guys do realize what you've set into motion. First it was furries, then LARPers. Now that you've set up juggalos as the new pariah of FTB, you have put into motion the inevitable recording of the FTB juggalo roundtable.

Tony is killed by two guys that enter the restaurant near the end of the episode. It fades to black because it's all told from Tony's point of view. The interview I heard with the creator made him sound sort of ticked off because he thought he came up with a brilliant ending and apparently most of the viewers didn't get it. http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainmen ... e-1.231236Unless he went back on it, that's not the original intent. I thought it was a brilliant 'fuck you' to people who demanded Tony be punished after rooting for him for 8 seasons. (And since Season 7, parts 1 and 2 are both the length of a regular Sopranos season, I'm calling it Season 8)

Most people didn't 'get' the ending of the Blair Witch Project either. They probably didn't remember the rumor about the kid in the corner of the room.

Seriously! I don't remember how many people I had to explain that last 30 seconds for. Drove me crazy.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Didn't think things could be much worse than the last level... and then there were the ending choices.
